About

Hair that moves like yours.
Nothing added. Everything aligned.

Most extensions are designed to be seen. Ours are designed to disappear into your own hair.

Babalu exists for women who want movement, blend, and integrity – not volume for the sake of it.

Because the right extensions shouldn’t change who you are. They should feel like they’ve always been yours.

Where it began

Before Babalu existed, I was simply trying to feel at home in my own hair.

As my natural texture changed from straight to curly, I struggled to find extensions that respected how my hair behaves – its movement, its density, its individuality.

My first experience with extensions was disappointing. The blend wasn’t just off. It didn’t belong to me. It looked added. Never integrated.

That experience changed everything. I realised the problem wasn’t extensions themselves. It was how they were being chosen, matched, and installed. Most solutions were created for a different hair reality.

Poor blend. Incorrect match.

The hair couldn’t hold it.

A different standard

I became focused on what most overlooked: how hair actually behaves.

Not just texture, but movement, density, response. Because when those aren’t respected, nothing blends.

At Babalu, everything is built from there.

What Babalu stands for

Texture comes first. Always. If it doesn’t move like your hair, it doesn’t belong.

No glue. No shortcuts.
Only methods that support long-term scalp health.

Hair is selected for compatibility, not convenience.
Precision, without noise.

Meet Nat

I’m Natalia, but most people call me Nat.

Babalu was born from my own journey with extensions and from the frustration of not finding solutions that respected natural texture.

Through continuous learning and hands-on refinement, I developed an approach centred on harmony between natural hair and the extensions that support it.

My work is guided by one goal: for you to leave feeling like yourself. Naturally.
